Hello from Michigan everyone. Just put a deposit on a 2022 2108DS FLX. I’ve been using your opinions and advice to others in my decision making process. Since the deposit has been made I figured I should join the discussion.
The FLX is a lot of fun, and a couple folks here have dug up A LOT of information about them.
We've also found out that some dealers don't quite have the information that they need, and some of the units have made it out of the factory with less than optimal settings.
definitely read through some of the threads. There's a bit of a learning curve, but it's well worth it. We love ours.
Picked up our 2108DS FLX today. Man I’m disappointed with the lack of knowledge my dealer has with this model. I knew way more than the guy orienting us thanks to this forum and YouTube.
You’ll know where it’s at when it’s running. Under the right side of the sink under the bottom panel. Four screws one on each side. (Back one is through some trim). I’m assuming your layout is the same as mine. The base must have been installed after the door because the door hinge interferes with easy removal of the base. I was able to flex it passed the hinge but did have to bend it to do so. I had a small drip at one of the tool-less connections that I was able to tighten by hand and stop the leak. When we turned the pump on initially it pressurized and shut off but would kick on and off again every few minutes from loss of pressure and I noticed a small amount of water coining out from under the cabinet. All good now. This coming weekend we’re doing another shake down trip without shore power this time.
