2006 View Rusting Window Header Trim

I have a 2006 view that still has a steel windshield header trim that is rusting. I have plans to reupholster the bed above the cab and want remove that steel trim and have it powder coated or replace it with aluminium. does anyone have any experience with this ?

Ask your question at the Sprintersource forum in the T1N forum, those guys know all about the windshield rust on the T1N cabs and you will get plenty of help.
