Winnebago Micro Minnie 2106DS

I have been looking at these for awhile now along with the 1706FB. I'm curious about a couple of things. One has anyone had experence with both of them? If so the pros and cons of both. Second I have a 2011 Chevy Silverado Extended Cab 4x4 with 5.3 V8 with a tow package will this be enough for the 2106DS? There are just two of us my girlfriend who can work from anywhere as long as we have internet and I'm retired and do photography work so we will need some work space between us. We do have the funds for either trailer but don't want to spend more than what we need. Our trips with include extended weekend trips along with the possiblty of a month a few times a year. Just looking for imput here and thank you so much in advance.

I have the 2106DS and you should be more than fine with that tow vehicle. My only concern would be range since Chevy doesn't offer a larger gas tank. I'm using a Colorado Duramax which is a much lesser tow vehicle.

As to the two, no experience with the 1706FB, but the one disign of the 2106DS I don't like is that the sewer drain hangs a bit low and too far back. The 1706FB may be better in that regard. It probably only matters if you go off road.

I am pulling my 2018 1706FB with a 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan rated to two 3,600 lbs. We have pulled loaded out, over flat highway, and mountains surrounding the Great Lakes and Southern States...no problem. We pull with no water in both our Potable and Black Water holding tanks. Our 6 gallon hot water is fully loaded. My Grand Caravan sports a 283 HP V-6 PentaStar mated to a 6 speed tranny, and front wheel drive. No problems...but decked out with the O.E.M Class 3 Tow Package...H.D. Rad, H.D. tranny cooler, H.D. suspension (with computer controlled rear air bag).
