Satellite set up for ‘18 Forza

We’ve just started our adventure in full timing in our 2018 Forza. Before we left, we had a satellite box added in the bedroom. We have a Winegard satellite mounted in the roof and don’t have any problems with the TV in the living room, but can’t get the box in the bedroom to work. Does anyone know if the bedroom is set up on the same in coming line as the LR? Any suggestions as to what might fix this problem?

Check the control box near the front tv. You can make selections for the 2nd tv or back tv such as antenna, cable , satellite. Turn off the antenna power button. Check which cable is attached to the box, it should be the one labeled roof top satellite.

I looked in the cabinet. There are 2 connections for roof satellite. One for portable. We are plugged into the first one. Any other ideas?

What satellite receiver do you have and how is the box in the bedroom setup to communicate with the receiver in the LR? Doesn't the box in the back get its TV signal from the receiver in the front. Some receiver's have a wireless connection to the remote TV's box.

Looking at the wiring diagrams on Winnebago. If I remember correctly, my bedroom TV will receive from the antenna, but not from the DVD player. Since I don't have the satellite antenna I can not tell if it would work in the bedroom or not.

Before getting into how the cables are laid and how many to do what, There are three different lengths of Forza for that year and seven different build dates, leaving it very difficult to say what you have. Add to that what options your dealer bought for your specific RV and you can see why you may get a wide range of guesses.
If you can post up more info on model and serial number, a check of the wiring diagrams is a good way to locate where the wires are installed.
