I presently have a Class A 29 ft Vista. I am thinking abut downsizing to a Class B. What kind of problems would I run into at Private, State or National camp grounds not accepting a Class B? Has anybody experienced a problem with this?
The reason I asked is I have seen some campgrounds that do not allow RV''s 10 years or older, Tents, pull trailers, pickup trucks with bed campers and 5th wheels. I will say they were all privately owned campgrounds.
Just look at their website and adjust where you are staying accordingly.

(RVM-14) It is what it is, and then it is what you make of it.
I’ve only run into this situation a couple of times in over 15 years. In those situations we moved on. My feeling is if they don’t want us we don’t want to stay. You shouldn’t have a problem with a Class C.
I went from a 35-footer to a 40-footer, then down to a 32 class A and finally to a 24-foot class C (Triple Wounder RTB). It is a lovely machine, but it is TOO BLOODY SMALL for the 2 of us. Don't go down to less than a 30-foot coach - class A if you are planning on spending more than weekends in it. Good Luck

ICM’s is one person’s opinion. My wife an 8 have taken two four month trips from Key Largo Fl to Homer, Alaska and back in a 22’ Class C and a 25’ Axis. Both were plenty big enough for the two of us for four months on the road. We downsized to a Travato Class B in January 2020 - just before Covid started raging - and ended up taking two multiple month trips to Colorado/ Utah and Canada. The twin bed Travato was certainly not as roomy as our previous RVs but it was fine. Lot easier to drive and park and find spots at National and state campgrounds - as well as a lot easier on gas. We love our Travato and would not go back to a bigger rig.
