Coleman Mach Basement Heatpump won't Start

The 2001 Adventurer has a Coleman Mach heat pump, which will not start.
I spend a week looking at the schematics (very good documentation) and thought it was the freeze thermistor. The documentation said if the green light on the outside control board was flashing quickly, that was the problem.

That didn't help. The doc also said that but jumping across two terminals the problem could be temporarily bypassed.

That didn't work either.

Now I'm trying to find some one in Northwest Florida who might know what they are doing and will work on this unit.

All of the recommended repair places, just laugh and says "We haven't worked on those things in years!"

Any ideas about getting this unit repaired??

Have you checked or replaced the starting capacitor? That is the first thing I would do as 90% of starting problems are related to the capacitor.
