ERA 170X Auxillary Propane Connection

Hi-
Am I correct this model does not have a connection to hook up an external grill? (I thought, but may be wrong, the ERA 170B has one). If not, is it possible to add one, or do most people use a separate propane tank? Thanks, Fred

I am interested to know if it is possible to add an auxiliary propane line for a grill to an Intent 31P.

Yes, it is certainly possible, however the details will vary a lot with a number of things. It is not hard to find U-tube type vids for getting some ideas of what it takes but then the trouble is in deciding what you want and at what amount of time and effort or expense.
Basic idea is that you put a fitting in the line coming out of the tank and run a line to what point you choose as most convenient for your use.
How hard? Depends on what you feel best as it can be done with copper line or solid piping, go to the front door which may be across the RV or just set it next to the existing tank.
When searching info, do look at the point where the line taps into the existing as you have to have the regulator in the correct location, not just simply running through the wrong spot or two regs! Also decide first what you want at the user end as it is different if you want to run like a camp stove which may require different pressure than some other function.
