Basement AC issue ?

I recently purchased a 2001 Adventurer with basement AC.
I eliminated the TODD Xfer Switch , and replaced with a 30 amp plug in receptacle in the same compartment.
Every thing works fine , however when I turn on A/C , it only shows 7-8 amps of drain on the readout in the hallway.
( momentary 12 amps on startup )

The #2 breaker is ON..
There is 120 volts at the LINE 2 on the A/C unit itself ...
and ... it is freezing cold !

It all seems good , however , I cannot believe both A/C compressors are running and still only drawing 7-9 amps.

Calling Winnebago tech support has not proven any real opinions.
Calling Coleman (AIRXCEL ) but they too seem to feel there is no problem.

ANY OPINIONS ......... ?

Sounds like only 1 compressor is running. See spec sheet below. Then do a search for my user name "imnprsd" to find the thread which will give you lot if information about your basement AC.

1) Start by verifying your thermostat is "calling" for the compressor to turn on.

2) Figure out if the status lights on the Basement AC circuit board are indicating a board malfunction. (Or not.) This step is not real clear in the manuals.

3) Text your start and run capacitors. This might be your problem. And visually if you see any capacitor leaking then you probably just found your problem.

4) Verify your relays in the basement AC are good.

Some people might swap circuits to see if the compressor starts.
