Replacing toilet flange on 2021 Vista???

I need to replace the toilet flange on my 2021 Vista. From the online drawings, the flange is glued into a short piece of 3" black drain pipe. That pipe is inserted into a rubber holding tank grommet on the black tank. Does any know if I can just pull that pipe up out of the grommet? After I replace the pipe and flange with a new one, do I just reinsert it into the grommet? Is there more to it than that?
