Propane tank makes ticking sound when RV rocks

2022 Spirit 22R

Within the past week the propane tank has started ticking when the RV rocks from side to side. It's like there's a pendulum inside the tank tapping against the side. I can push the RV to make it rock from side to side and the ticking starts and slowly subsides on its own after 30 seconds, getting quieter towards the end of 30 seconds. Is something loose in there? This is an RV that has been converted to 4WD so I do take it on some rough roads but nothing dramatic.

Thanks for your help.

If it is a fixed tank there is a float in there for the gauge. It may bee hitting against something.

I've never seen the inside parts, so it may be somewhat different but this is one picture I found that is for a 100 pound tank and appears to be the same gauge, looking from the outside?

The Innards of your RV Propane Tank

There's two "pendulums" in there, a float for the gauge, and one for overfill protection.
