Nobody has mentioned that Google can and will take you down some crazy ass roads you don't want to be on. We cringe sometimes even in our Bronco. Google has no function for saying "this is a very sketchy and unsafe neighborhood or road ". Conversely, Garmin is only right about 95% of the time. It has regularly gone against specific recommendations from campgrounds and campground specific road signs. We use all three, Google, Garmin, and always check if the campground gives specific directions. The latter is always the best. Speaking from significant experience traveling to areas we don't have a clue about. God bless and safe travels...

Our Ohrex seems to work just fine. It parallels the Garmin I keep in my car and the Google Maps from my phone that interface with my RAM pickup. I was out in the backcountry without phone service and the Ohrex even brought me back to civilization from there. Mine is supposed to have a lifetime map update with an on-line download. I've even used it to find gas and restaurants along the way and it works for that too. It was on sale at holiday time for $50 bucks and I'm not disappointed.

Waiting for the sun to come up so I can walk my dog...my point was we just don't rely on one system. We like it best when they both/all finally agree...
