Micro Minnie ST235/75R15, best replacements?
My 2021B Micro Minnie came with Westlake "off-road style" tires in size ST235/75R15. They are load range C (50 psi) and I can't find any source for replacement (other than the dealer I suppose). They are available from eTrailer in load range D, but they aren't cheap.
The Geo Pro and E-Pro trailers have used the "D" versions of this tire for a couple of years. I can't find any horror stories about them on the owner's forums. I don't know anything about the performance of the "C" versions as installed on the Micro Minnie.
I'll probably keep them for this summer's big trip (2500-miles) and hope for the best, but at some point they'll need to be replaced.
I consider either LT or the Goodyear Endurance ST tires as the most desirable replacements. The issue with the Goodyear Endurance is that the closest size is load range E. I'm thinking 80 psi is going to beat the heck out of my little camper (nearly zero cushioning from the tires). My two axles carry 4400 lbs (total between them).
Anyone swap to LR E Goodyear Endurance on the Micro Minnie? Are you running them at 80 psi or using the Goodyear load tables and running a lower pressure?
What other tires are folks using in this size range?
