Reinforcing Rear Hitch Micro Minnie 2225RL?

We have just bought a new Micro Minnie 2225RL. Looking at the rear bumper/hitch it is extremely lightweight. I would like to be able to put a rack on to be able to carry a small scooter or a 300 pound motorcycle on the back. Just wondering if anyone has done some type of upgrade or reinforcement to this area. Thanks

Before you do that, you need to be aware that adding 300lbs to the rear of your Travel Trailer can seriously effect the towability of the trailer. That much weight will lighten your tongue weight by a similar amount and cause serious problems.

But other's have removed the factory hitch and had the frame beefed up and welded a new higher class-rated hitch directly to the reinforced frame.

But this is on motorhomes, not travel trailers.
