Can't keep my awning dry. Micro Minnie 2106DS

I live in OR and it rains here all winter long. My Micro Minnie 2106DS lives outside. Over the years I notice the awning gets wet inside when it rains even with the awning rolled up.

I tried putting a home-made cover (4" plastic house gutter) over the awning and it still collects water inside when it rains even though the cover extends well beyond the open ends.

I think the water is just seeping through the cloth.

Is my only choice to go to a full trailer cover?

Hi k.darwin,
I would cover your trailer in a manner similar to how I cover my Minnie Winnie. It rains here in South Bend too, and my awning stays clean & dry.
Thanks, Eagle5
