Micro Minnie FLX 2108DS not charging Batt on Shore Power

Hello friends, New to RVing but not new to electronics. Kinda shocked at the lack of printed info available with our new RV but I digress...

We've had our new RV on shore power at the house for a couple weeks and we've been noticing the AC is shutting off on its own so we determined the Thermo is resetting. After reading some threads I see the thermo runs on 12v and so i checked the battery and sure enough its down to 11.4vdc.

I understand the shore power should be charging the battery correct?

All breakers and fuses are ok in the panel under the range top
the 30a breaker on the tongue appears to be ok (reset button is pressed in and hasnt popped out).

Battery switch is in the garage is ON.

What could I be missing here? Thanks for your help!

Welcome
Have you verified the Xantrex and GoPower configurations?

Possible the Xantrex is timing out?

Good luck,

If we are talking about a 2022 2108ds Micro Minnie this would be a FLX unit.
It has no converter it has a Xantrex inverter/charger.
When on Shore Power the Xantrex should charge the Lithioinics battery, but the Xantrex needs to be ON. Additionally the Xantrex has a couple of “tunable” parameters that can be problematic; the 2 Power Saver parameters, and the AC Input breaker for Load Share.
The two Power Saver parameters can cause the Xantrex to turn off after a configurable period of time. The last can cause a shore breaker! of less than 30 amp capacity, to “trip”.

Hope this helps?

YES and YES.
1.) My Xantrex Freedom display has gone dark. I have been off shore power for sometime and I think it has timed out. I’ve cycled the battery power button but still no go. I’ll take the cover off the Xantrex next to see if I can power it on directly. Is there an easier way to ge the Freedom display to force the unit back on if it, in fact, has simply timed out?

2.) I have tripped my garage 15amp breaker numerous times by not using the Xantrex app to change the input to 15A ahead of time. Is this programmable on the unit itself or the Freedom Panel, or ONLY from the app? If I ever lose Bluetooth capability, I could see this being problematic trying to use any less than a 30A shore power.

Thanks for your input!

Three previous posts were removed because they were suggesting solutions that did not apply at all to the TT model being discussed. This is not something we normally do, but felt things were getting confusing.

It is important to ALWAYS include full model info when asking for help solving an issue with your RV so that responses will apply to your specific model.

Xantrex power cycle

These may help.
The Xantrex remote panel button should cycle power and reset a fault (if necessary)

Have you use the lithionics app to see if there's fault codes with the battery?

UPDATE:
I ended up calling Xantrex tech support, who are very knowledgeable folks, and they will talk you through troubleshooting your inverter. You do have to know the basics on how to use a Voltmeter so you can tell them the readings at various points.

Turns out my my inverter is completely DOA and being replaced via warranty.
One interesting tidbit I learned, if you are wondering about that black breaker reset button flopping around on the case, it’s not actually functional unless you have an accessory GFCI circuit attached (which is not a FLX model option), so don’t bother messing with that when troubleshooting your inverter.
