Micro Minnie Bunk House Model,Top Bunk Removal

Has anyone with a Micro Minnie bunkhouse model remove the top bunk bed? (no need to ask why) I want to remove the entire top bed or about 1/3 of it for easy access to the bottom bunk bed and to use the remaining 2/3's for storage.
I wish they made both beds fold up like the bottom bunk bed. If you have removed a top bunk bed, please attach photos and procedure for removal.

Check on YouTube. I remember seeing video of guy removing both bunks on his, the top bunk being the most difficult. He had to first remove the thin luan top to expose the supports which were screwed into the sidewalls from what I remember. Good luck on your project, it would have been more practical if they were both flip up bunks.
