Yeah, I was afraid of damaging the roof and had a roll of Enternalbond standing by. LOL I watched the video you linked and must say, using oscillating tool made fast work of the old sealant, but I don't think I would have had the guts to do it!! But, it looked like it kept the stretching of the rubber roof to a minimum.
