E450 chassis upgrades

I have a 2014 Access Premier. We now have 60,000 miles on it. Have been thinking more about E450 chassis upgrades. We just drove to Alaska and back.
It seems like we are more and more tired driving. Maybe it is an age thing but crosswinds, rough roads and big rigs passing are a problem. What upgrades have you made and are they reasonable DIY?

Front and rear sway bars, track bar and steering stabilizer,

Hellwig or super steer for the sway bars. Super steer for the track bar and roadmaster for the steering stabilizer. You’ll be very happy with the upgrades. Keep in mind that crosswinds will always be an issue to some extent.

Sumo Springs, front and rear. Better in all the driving conditions you mention.
Most of them are DIY, some might need a shop to help. Lots of youtube vids out there on DIY installations
Class Cs are notorious for curb roll, wallow, and sway.
Yes, it's also an age thing.

For front Sumo Springs on a E450 chassis, you have a 500 pound and 1000 pound capacity choice. I’ve often wondered, which would be the better option?

For me, I had no problems with driving on the freeways with wallow, the crosswinds, big rig bow wash, and so on. The Sprinter chassis is pretty good at handling that stuff, even when top heavy with the class C coach/box on it.
I got them mainly for entering/exiting driveways and fuel stops and parking lots at low speeds, for the curb roll, so I went HD, front and rear. It's made a positive difference.

If you care to have your rig handle correctly and not tire you out, my recommendations point to Henderson's Line-up in Grants Pass, Oregon. Just made a trip with the intent of including an appointment at Henderson's, and what a difference. Spend a little, or spend a little more. This is a family owned business which has made it's claim to fame remedying RV chassis improvements. In my case, I spent a lot and am happy with--no, impressed with --the results. Can not speak highly enough with this company...real technicians and mechanics, not just parts replacers.
