Aspect - Component ID?

Just acquired a 2014 Aspect. Dealing with the hitch noted a petroleum based fluid of some sort. Looking up I see a tube coming out of the body. Dead center as far back as you can go. Made me think of the slobber tube on my diesel (Cummins) pusher. Its under the trunk floor so couldn't see where it comes from but there's nothing mechanical there is there? The bedroom slide would be the closest I'm thinking.

Its evidently intended to expel whatever its expelling. So what is it connected to and what is the fluid?

First thing that comes to my mind is under the back of our Minnie Winne there's a couple of drain tubes in the bottom of the molded plastic storage compartments in the basement. There to drain out anything that might spill inside.

My Aspect has a couple of drains tubes coming through the floor near the rear. They are drains for the plumbing system and water tank. Haven't seen anything petroleum like substance coming from them. The again, I don't have the rear trunk (wish I did) so not apples to apples comparison.

You can go on the WI website and pull up plumbing diagrams for your specific year and model. Click the "Resources " tab near the top of the page and enter your info. You will also see electrical diagrams, etc. this is one area where WI shines.
