ERA 70A question ??

Has anyone with a 70A added aftermarket rear air shocks ??
Do they help with carrying extra weight ??
Thanks

Air suspension will level the RV and improve ride quality. But you still need to know what your weight is fully loaded. Very important not to push it. Overweight can cause serious handling issues and will prematurely wear out your awesome rig.

In case you haven't weighed an RV previously, it's pretty simple. We did it within the last year and paid something like $12.50 at a Cat scale location at a QuikTrip gas station. You can look up the locations on line.

Fully loaded (fuel, water, food, gear, people, etc.) our 2016 ERA 70A (not a 4x4 model) weighed in at about 10,300 pounds. Weight distribution was about 4,000 pounds on the front and 6,300 on the back.

The couple of air suspension kits I've seen do not change the weight specs.
