2012 ERA Floor plan

We are looking at this ERA and see that it has two beds at rear similar to those at the bow of a boat. Not sure if they convert to a sofa like I see in so many others or is that the way they came from factory? TIA

What I see as "normal" is a couch which can fold down into a bed. Possible your RV has been changed or perhaps an option sold?

The 2012 Era Brochure only shows the 70X floor plan, which has a couch that aligns width-wise. Perhaps this is a dealer-installed option?

... then again, it might be a 2012 Mercedes built into a 2013 Winnebago Era 70A.

Lichtsinn RV has a lot of good Era videos on YouTube. Here is one for the 2012 Era - I didn't watch it all the way through so I'm not sure which model or models it covers. They do have some for the 70X which you can search for.

We have a 2016 Era 70A and much prefer that layout with the beds by the rear doors running the length of the vehicle, as opposed to a bed that's oriented side to side. With the 70A layout either of us can get up at any time without potentially having to crawl over the other.
