Adventurer/Suncruiser 32H Floor Plan in a Diesel?

My wife and I really like the 32H floor plan. Has anyone come across this same set up in a DP? The diesel is attractive however the only one in that size so far is the Palazzo and it has the TV against the wall of the dinette which wouldn't work for us.

The only ones I have found are the Thor Avanti and the Serrano--both discontinued. These coaches were well thought out, in that they had aerodynamic front caps, and were lower and narrower than others.
My dream coach would be the Vista 30T setting on the chassis that the Avanti used. This would be easy to drive and easily make 12 mpg. Thor could not make their models work (terrible execution, tons of warranty). WGO could and should make this viable. Winnebago has a great floorplan in the 30T, but the chassis is the limitation. Getting 8 to 9 mpg in these "light weight" motorhomes is wrong.

A better design is out there, who is going to first capitalize on it?

I have. But..........I do not like the horseshoe banquets, and the price point is way up there, somewhat above the Vista.

We actually like the Fleetwood Excursion 33A floor plan for a short DP:

One thing we don't like about the Adventurer 32H is the bathroom being "part of" the kitchen ...we'd prefer a little separation there.

I guess having a full-wall slide is nice and the bedroom has nice room in the 32H.

I just looked at that new Forza unit on line last night, it looks nice but one of the spare areas we need is the fold out sofa to have a couple of dog crates. Now that fireplace area might be wide enough to accomodate them.

As far as the horshoe/U shaped booth...again it's really subjective as we saw the ultra leather U shaped booth in the 32H and liked it.

We're trying our best to find the right plan to avoid disappointment soon after..

If you're considering ordering a new unit you can contact the people Winnebago and ask for some changes. We added a couple things to our 2013 Adventurer 32H that weren't listed as options. When we took a tour we were told that if an item was offered on a different model there's a good possibility it can be installed.

They won't do wholesale changes like put a complete interior from a Meridian into an Adventurer, but they are pretty liberal on what they will change.

The Journey 34Y was nearly identical:

The newer 34B is almost the same too:

Yes the Journey looks good but then we enter that passenger seat entry vs mid entry.

Ahhh, mid-door. That is tougher. Palazzo might be it these days. Monaco Vesta / Holiday Rambler Trip are diesels with a mid door. Not pushers, but smaller in length. They were available in like 2009-2011 or so.

That is interesting about being able to have some changes made if you order direct from the factory. I guess the obvious question is if you do that are you stuck with paying the sticker price of around 150 or can you still get the price if you were to dicker with the dealer and get the 25 to 30% off?

Actually we were told by the factory personnel that things not on the options list could be ordered. The order was made through the dealer. We purchased from Pleasureland RV in Ramsy MN.

The dealer passed on the wholesale price for the things we added. I noticed when we picked up the motorhome the retail price for the unlisted options was 28% higher than what we paid.
