What is this part 2007 Journey 36SG

I uploaded three pictures of an aluminum extrusion, I found on top of the large slide of my 2007 Journey 36SG.


About a month ago, while retracting the large drivers side slide, I hear a loud clunk. This was quite unusual and I was going to look next time the slide was out, but I forgot.


Next time I was retracting the slide and it happened again, and again I forgot to look.


Finally in preparation for my last trip I remembered to look. and found the piece of aluminum in the three pictures. It measures about 1.5" x 1.75"


At some point it has damaged a small section of slide seal, but not so bad as to leak. I have looked everywhere and cannot find a place that is missing a part, and there are no marks on it to indicate it has ever been attached to anything.


I am going to look through the Winnebago build sheer and see if it is pictured anywhere.
