unknown part found

]Good afternoon. I've had my 02 Adventurer 35u for 4 years and I have just recently '' found '' 2 U brackets in the engine bay, one on each side not bolted down or welded to anything ! They don't have a part number but looking thru parts PFD I think I found out what they are. part # 134595-01-02B Bracket, Insert , Clamp. Sounds like it's out of a Navy manual ! I have been searching on line and I keep coming back to the parts manual , no pictures or descriptions of what the heck they clamp ! Thanks in Advance for any info

They look very familiar to me.
On my 2001 Adventurer, .....
They look like the support brackets that secure the front 'Shell' to the frame.
They were 'glued' to the fiberglass and probably came loose after many years.

This is what happened to mine.

I used an exterior adhesive/glue to reattach them.

Look at the inside, front of your hood and try to find some dried adhesive that has the 'footprint' of the flange on the bracket.
I'm sure you'll find out where they go .
It is a common issue with Winnebago's that are this old.
Glue dries up and the vibration takes its toll.

Let us know.

There's a similar problem with hood latch brackets falling off and there are numerous threads dealing with how best to reattach them, the foolproof method is through-bolting. The secret of reattaching with epoxy or other adhesive is prep.
