Lightbulb Safe-T-Plus Installed

Installation was done without any lifts or jacks. I was able to get all of the 1 1/8" bolts torqued down to the recommended 98 fp and 85 fp, though I nearly over-tightened the tie rod bracket before I checked their website and saw those bolts are only supposed to be 20 fp or they could crush the bar.

Driving the motorhome with it installed is a little odd. I can feel it countering especially at low speed lane changes and turns. It does not make low speed turning or lane changes difficult, just different. On the interstate, it performed well. Previously I had some over-steer that caused the motorhome to porpoise a little, that is gone now. I like the improved steering feel on the interstate. In town? I will have to get used to it.

We love our Safe-T-Plus...really made a difference on our rig. We have noticed a big change when we pass the 18 wheelers or in the high winds. Smooth as can be!
