My 2008 Siteseer 34M hood latches?

I've gotten my Siteseer back from the body shop where I had some fiberglass repair done to the front end. I had to show the guys at the shop how to open the hood so they could get at the front grill and remove it.
When I tried to open the hood to check the oil I found that neither of the latches will move, at all. I'm afraid that the body shop might have done something reinstalling the front grill so that the latches don't line up... or something.
I am going back to see what they can do but I have my doubts that they'll be much help.
I'll be spraying Liquid Wrench in there hoping that will do the trick, but again it's the only thing I can think of and don't hold much hope that that will work.
I'm stuck unless one of you experts out there can come up with a suggestion.
thanks so much

I have one latch on my 2007 Itasca that is difficult to open. The prior owner told me that there were times where it had to be adjusted. Right now, the right one will only open if I actually pull the hood down some. Otherwise, you might be able to reach up under there with something, but I’m guessing you’ve already tried that.

It sounds like they may have adjusted them a bit too tight! Have you tired pushing in/pulling out on the hood as you try to turn the latches?
It can be a bit of trick to find the "sweet spot" where they are tight enouigh to hold and not bounce loose and still be loose enough to move when you want them to turn.
