A good start would be to begin documenting Manufactures and model numbers of what you have, such as the inverter, inverters come in all shapes sizes and functionality. Some inverters only invert dc power to ac power, some inverters also charge, and some pass the ac voltage through them till the ac power is no longer present, then switch to invert the dc power back to ac power. Oh good point. Right now she is 4and1/2 hours away from us. That makes it a little harder. I did grab the paperwork out of her but it will only tell me what she started with.

As soon as I can get her home, I'll start documenting what I've got.
