Broken tailpipe hanger

I discovered that the weld on the hanger for the tailpipe end piece had failed on my '21 Vista. This caused the tailpipe to no longer be supported and to bang around. The weld didn't actually fail...it was an extremely poor quality tack weld that looks like it never took. This part is supplied by Winnebago. All of the other exhaust system hangers are supplied by Ford. A local Mom & Pop auto service center re-welded the arm to the clamp for me. That final piece of tailpipe is kind of long so I think this hanger provides important support.

Well, that takes care of one rattle. Only 999 left to find!

They do break easily. I've hit my tail pipe on rocks when turning in tight campground roads. They love to put rocks on turns to keep drivers like me from dropping a wheel into their grass, flower beds, mud puddle, etc.

Not only does this usually break that final exhaust hanger... but it collapses your tail pipe causing all kinds of back flow issues. Don't do it!

The same hanger recently broke on my Sunstar. I glued it back together with JB Weld and it held up on a 1800 mile trip I finished yesterday. JB Weld is good stuff.
