Journey tailpipe replacement
On my 02 journey with 3126 e cat I need to replace tail pipe from muffler to rear of coach. Can I get the pipe from a freightliner dealer or do they make new pipe or use flex steel pipe . It is not straight and burnt a hole at bend after 14 years. Thks. Rkl

RKL, here is the link to the pars catalog for your coach. Call Winnebago and see if the will send you the parts spec sheet for the :
114869-10-000 EA PIPE - EXHAUST - CAT, then you can take the spec's to an exhaust shop and have them bend you one.

I took my old rusty tail pipe to my local RV guy. He took 2 angles (45's I think) and a length of tube, all 5". He welded the pieces together to match the the original I brought him. He had it finished the next day, it cost me $90.

I bought a new S/S turn down on EBay to finish it off.

Update. Neither winnebago nor Lichenstein had them. Winnebago stopped making them a while ago for this year o2. No local muffler place or rv place would try to make one . Finally freightliner local shop said they would try to make one out of 5 inch steel flex pipe. Freightliner in Gaffney says they leave it up to rv maker. It does not show exhaust pipe on parts sheets, only exhaust parts up to muffler. I will let you all know after it is completed. No one wanted to weld a patch or 5 inch pipes together. Thks. Rkl
