2009 Journey 39Z small basement compartment water leak

Wonder if anyone has seen this. I have a 2009 Journey 39Z and the passenger lower compartment (first big door). Its not that much water maybe two shot glasses pending the rain. The body mldg on the side is sealed and that sealant could stand to be resealed. Anyone seen this? I have sealed that cap which is a ways away. Also sealed the rood where it meets the side,

Appreciate any input thank you

How's the rubber seal between the compartment door and it's frame? They often move or get damaged to let the water come in.
If it's the original seal, being more than 10-12 years old , it is likely to have dried out and gotten brittle.
I often do not go for the OEM stuff as too expensive but just go for off the shelf stuff that I replace more often!

Is it the first compartment behind the front tire? If so, the seam where the side wall of that compartment facing the tire meets the floor of the compartment may be compromised. Check that lower seam seal. It will be a caulked seal.

I have to look but good idea except the coach isn't moving and the water is there. However my electric compartment does get a little dam going down the road in the rain. That could be the issue there. Never a dull moment with a RV
