Right turn signal not wirking
New to us 03 Sightseer 30. Right turn signal does not work. We thought it was the bulb, then the socket. It now seems like a wiring issue. All other signals work. Ideas? Garage cannot find a break in the line.

checked the flasher relay, I assume? I find them to be the more frequent after bulbs.

Jslowak-
First off, welcome to winnieowners!
Second, you should add a signature to your user profile. It usually includes the year, make and model of your coach, but can include other information. A signature is appended to each post. To create/edit a signature, click on the "User CP" link in the orange bar at the top, then click on "Edit Signature."
Re: Turn signal. Is your coach built on a Ford or Workhorse chassis?

I would look around where someone might have added a plug for trailer lights, assuming it has a plug for trailer lights.

We are missing so much of the needed info that it is really hard to begin, so we have to ask some questions. Which turn signal? All right turn indications like front, back, and dash, or just some of those do not work?
A garage that can't find a turn signal problem?
WOW! That almost puts it into the joke section!

Jslowak-
Wiring diagrams for the 2003 Sightseer 30B are here. The "Auto Lamps Wiring Diagram," part of that set, is here. Make sure you look at the Ford parts, not the Chevy parts, of the diagrams.
As "Morich" said, we need to know more about the problem. You say it's the right turn signal. That signal appears in at least four places:
1) Front
2) Rear
3) Trailer hitch connector
4) Dashboard indicator
Are any of these working?

Right turn signal on Sightseer 03
Good morning:
The signal is the right front only. All other signals work and respond. Did not check the flasher, but will. Thank you for the wiring diagram. We will not be going back to that garage.

Flasher won’t effect just the front signal. You have a bad wire/connection for that light. Make sure ground is good. . Start at the bad light itself and work backwards with a test light or DMV, paying close attention to any plugs for loose bad connections. Good luck. Wiring issues can be a pain to track down when the wires are bundled together
Is this a combination turn/run light?
You did replace with correct bulb and insert in socket the right orientation, right? Just double checking to cover the basics.

When you say all are working except the right front, does that mean the right front marker lamp is also working? If that is true, it cuts the chase way, way down as it is not likely to be very far from the front turn signal to the marker lamp! I would really start back at the first step and check for both voltage and ground at the socket which is not working. If it is not the bulb, a rusty or corroded socket is a pretty common thing and can be as simple as needing to have the contact in the socket base scraped off!

Jslowak, I had a similar problem which turned out to be the bulb socket. It had been too hot due to a loose fit I assume. It simply could not make the proper connection. It's an easy fix. The socket with harness (pigtail) is available at most auto parts stores.

Right turn signal on Sightseer 03
Thank you all. Turns out on the Ford Chasis there is a fuse at #21 that controls the right bulb. We are all fixed. Now onto a new thermostat.

I’ve a similar problem with my 2000 Journey and have traced it down to the socket in the left front turn signal. I cannot, for the life of me, find that socket; I just spent 2-1/2 hours at the NAPA regional warehouse going through pages of sockets but none seem to have the four pin insert to fit into the TYC turn signal housing.
Does anybody have a brand and part number?

Hi Rich, What is the socket in? If you tell us what make, model and color (kidding), we can better help you search. If all searches fail, try a salvage yard.

This is the left front turn signal/parking light on my 2000 Journey. It’s the grey socket that fits into the back of the lens housing, part number TYG 12-1506. It’s a four prong socket with three wires sealed into the back. I cannot find anything similar. The socket does have a number, FS548 T1, but that doesn’t seem to bring up anything in a Google search.
