Battery location?

I have a new to me 2010
Itasca Suncruiser 37-4. This
is the gas model. Don’t have all the manuals. Where are the batterie’s located and also how many should there be? Also how do you know which are chassis batteries and the coach batteries? Any help is appreciated.

Your batteries are under your 2nd step in the stairwell. There is a small clasp on the front of the riser - lift the bottom and remove the top clip from the stair tread hold down.

You should have 3-batteries under there - 2-house batteries and one chassis (starting) battery.

A couple small points which may help to sort when first looking at the drawings or the batteries as there may seem to be confusing mess when first looking!!

There really is some reason for them marking things. The cables (when new) were marked with either tape wrapped at the ends or sometimes simply black and red as the insulation colors asnd those colors are then shown on the drawings for sorting which should go where and what they connect at the other end.

But first step is to sort which chassis you have, Workhorse or Ford in your case. Cuts confusing if we can start with looking at the correct info.

Then I didd a markup of what info the drawings may have to match up with what you actually find. This is assuming folks have not switched out or changed too many things, of course!
