Sorry, but the details are what iare needed and your post has left many more questions than answers!
So maybe we need more details?
1. This allows me to quickly fire up the inverter, plug into shore power my AC outlets will all work.
Does this mean you are using the inverter to give AC and also plugging into shore power for a second source of Ac to mix with the first? Not seeing the reason as the outlets should all work when plugged into any source and mixing them brings lots of questions on waveform, phase, etc. that I would not want to test out at each location.
Maybe I'm not reading what you are saying?
2. Normally it would cut all power to and from the aux batteries.
Not true as there are safety items which are left on, even after the disconnect is used. Bigger issue will be that it will not cut off items added to the battery before the disconnect!
3. The solenoid is clicking when I hit the switch.
I'm confused here but it may only be different terms used. Do you mean the mode solenoid is clicking or is it the disconnect relay you are speaking of that is clicking?
