The thermostat in our 2002 Itasca 35U quit working on our last trip (was getting power but neither the fan nor the compressor was coming on). As such, we purchased a new thermostat from the local dealer figuring it would be easy enough to replace. Pulled the old one out ... looked at the new one ... oops
...number of wires on the new one is less than that of the old.
Per the dealer, the new thermostat we have is "suppose" to be the replacement for the one in our unit. We cannot return the new thermostat either as they will not take back electrical parts.
Anyone have any idea on how the wires are suppose to match up? We sure don't want to pay the dealer a fortune if this is something we can do ourselves.
Thanks
