Sealing Leaks on 1999 Chieftain 35U Roof

Hello. I'm new here and new to RV'ing in general. Picked up this 1999 Chieftain about 3 months ago and it has been a pretty fun learning experience. I am looking for information on sealing up potential water leaks that come from the roof. Previous owners of this RV seem to have neglected a lot of different things, so I want to fix the issues they never kept up with. How does a person figure out where/how water could be coming in from the roof, like into the bathroom ceiling, or around one of the roof AC units? Is it all just sealant? Or are there gaskets around these openings that I can replace? The sealant around the sky light above the shower looks and feels fine. It is nice and rubbery feeling, and I don't see any cracks in it, or in the roof anywhere around it, but the carpeted ceiling inside has some discoloration on it. Also after one really really heavy rain storm, I felt the bathroom ceiling actually was wet so have been running a dehumidifier each night. Any info is appreciated.

The best and most effective way to find possible water leak sites is to have an RV service center use a Seal-tech system to find, then manually seal every point of entry.
As matter of roof maintenance, the old sealant should be removed as much as possible, the roof then cleaned, andsealing tape used- applied exactly as directed.(if you want it to last)
Eternabond was bought by HB Fuller.

When I had a skylight leak, I had to look carefully but I spotted some hairline cracks in the outer layer (mine had an outer and inner plastic). I used 2" Eternabond on those cracks (and it hardly affected the light that made it inside) and 4" Eternabond around the edge of the skylight where it joined the roof. I scraped and cleaned up much of the old self leveling caulking before laying the Ebond.

Here's how it looked before I noticed the cracks in the dome...

Years later, no leak, but it did develop another crack as the dome aged out. Sealed that crack with Ebond too.
