Schwintek Slide out Issues

I recently purchased a 2013 Winnebago Tour. After using it a few times I noticed that the front drivers side slide had become misaligned at the front part of the slide. When the top was tight to the wall when retracted the bottom was out about 2". I came up with a simple solution that I wanted to share with anyone having the same issue. It keeps the slide level while operating. I just store it away in a drawer while parked then lay it on the floor when I am ready to retract the slide. It is basically a 18 gage piece if metal with two 1/4" steel rods welded to the plate. The two nylon rods the have been machined to lay over the rods on the plate. I also adhered EPDM rubber to the bottom of the metal so it would not scratch the tile. I have attached a photo.

That looks good. If that keeps the slide working without issue, good on ya!

Very smooth and quiet operation of the side since using this fix.

I don't understand how this brings the bottom of the slide in.
