1999 Adventurer 34v under dash chime

1999 Adventurer 34v. Cummins 275. Allison 4 speed with manual shifter. 30,000 mi.

2 items and thank you:

1. Under dash Audio Alarm module

When running, D or R hearing a chime. N, stops. No warning lights… just a low to medium chime. Sound began (off/on) around 24k miles, now continuous chime.

Under dash audio alarm module made by Floyd Bell, Inc.

What is causing this alarm ??

2. Slide out

Once retracted, unit (over time) inches out 3 inches.
Hydraulic level normal.

What is causing this ?

Regards, Scott

Chime

Mine does that sometimes, I just apply & release the parking brake a couple of times and it stops. Probably the contacts inside the parking brake switch assembly.
On the slide out on HWH creep there's a few trouble shooting on the probably this site and the other IR site.
