Roof Vent Gear Arm trouble 2019 Minnie Winnie 31G

We have a 2019 Minnie Winnie 31G. The roof vent wouldn’t open and the gear arm just spun so I ordered a new gear arm and handle. I replaced it and it’s still spinning. Not sure what to do now

Remove the handle/knob and try to turn the splined shaft by hand. When you do, is the arm moving on the side of the operator? If not, the new operator is faulty too.

That was it. Ordered a new one and it’s working. Camping World said I had to replace the whole roof vent ($299/vent). So glad I did my research. Thanks!
