Norcold Fridge doesn’t see propane

Have a Norcold N8X that runs fine on AC. When trying to get it to start on propane the fridge panel comes on showing the AC but shuts down when no Ac is present. It will not switch to propane. I have 12.6VDC on the board, with fuses good. Propane is on.

This will take you to the owners manual as a guide to reading the error codes that you should be getting.
https://norcold.com/wp-content/uploa...B_20180604.pdf

It also has the info on how to reset the controls if that is needed.
As quick jump to possible causes, have you verified that the propane is actually getting to the other appliances as a way to know it the gas portion is okay?
A stuck gas solenoid can sometimes kill all!

My Norcold N611 would not "see propane" either. Actually, I discovered that the igniter on the control board was not working. To test this, I put the unit on propane and manually lit the unit (there is a hole in the burner area for this purpose). It would light and stay lit if I did it manually.

I replaced the control board, and it now works properly.

I am not sure if your N8 works similarly, but you might check that.

My Norcold 1210 stopped using propane about 3 weeks ago and out of frustration I decided to reboot it. My first shot worked!! I just turned the entire refer off for 5 minutes then turned it back on and it has been switching from ac to propane as needed ever since.
