Dash air blower works on high only 2017 Tour 42QD

2017 tour 42qd
my dash air blower only works on high speed. typically this means the resistors are blown. where are they? how do you get to them?
Thanks for your help

they are in different locations on different trucks but the one common idea is that they are sticking into the space where air flows as a way to cool the coils that make up the resistance. So looking along the "shroud" where the blower is screwed on may turn up the pack.

If not found there, it may be on the big shroud that sticks forward and under the hood of the RV?
Knowing it is about the only thing on those shrouds/covers that has a plug and bunch of wires attached may be a good clue.

what it looks like is this as they are pretty much the same for a hundred years on all kinds of cars?

Usually the coils will be screwed into the space, so all you see is the plug and wiring with a couple screws to hold it in place. Easy to swap out once found----IF handy to reach!

This is not the right one, so shop for the correct one for your chassis as the speeds may not match for others!

MIne is accessed from behind the front cap on passenger side. It's attached to the heater/air conditioner air box.(big black box at upper left when looking at the firewal)

There's also a defrost fan switch on the dash (separate from the selector switch) on models through at least 15/16 - might that be having some impact?
