'97 Adventurer chassis fuse panel

My 1997 Adventurer 34 has some weak terminals in the chassis fuse panel such that some of them (particularly the HEATER, also GAUGES) tend to melt the fuse plastic down before burning out. (When the GAUGES fuse goes, that disables my charging system.)

Where can I find a replacement fuse panel or terminals? How do I get the fuse panel out? I have removed the screws and it is loose but I can't find an exit path for the panel.

How much current should the heater blower be drawing? If I run it over medium speed (without the AC compressor), it blows (20-25A) fuses. Does this much current mean I have a bad blower or might there be something besides the blower drawing excess current?

Someone here may be able to help. But in the meantime it seems that every part of your question would best be answered by Chevrolet knowledgeable folks - like at a Chevy / Workhorse forum. Each of the parts you asked about are Chevy chassis parts, not Winnebago parts.

Best of luck finding what you are looking for.

We are still a bit short of info to get the best idea of things as there are 5 different 34 foot versions for that year! This is a wild guess and looking at the 34wa model, but it may be the same.
Is this the fuse and panel in question?

Click this snip to get a better view!

But my first thought would be that I would never attempt to change out the whole panel as there are many, many, many wires on the backside!

I finally changed the blower and now it draws only 7A on high, higher on lower speeds. I'll still want to replace the fuse panel or its weak fuse connector pins if I can find some and figure out how to get it out (removing the visible screws isn't enough).
