New to us Adventurer

I just purchased a 99 Adventurer 32t with 27000 miles on her. She's in overall good condition, the bottom of the door is de laminating, the back rails are dinged up and rusted, the outside radio does not work, and I just found out that I am a member of the leaky windshield club. I will soon remove myself from this club by removing the weather stripping and C channel, wire wheel the rusted parts, hit it with some rust reformer, and put everything back together.



We are planning on heading west from NH this summer and would like to hear campground suggestions of "must sees". This will be our first long trip of this length with 2 kids so I don't want them to miss the worlds biggest ball of yarn or whatever else there is to see.

I have yet to visit the East Coast in our Adventurer, but hope to someday. However, welcome to the forum and best of luck on the projects you mentioned!

After everything is back together, run a strip of Eternabond across the top of the rubber moulding (weatherstripping). That took care of mine. Don't seal it all the way around. You want to let gravity do its job and let any water that does get in to drain out.
