How not to repair a 50 amp shore line

Posted 09-07-2023 at 02:18 PM by HiBanky

I bought this 2005 journey five years ago. I noticed at that time that the 50 amp extension cord had what look to be a kitchen range plug on the end. It seemed to be working fine so I paid it little mind until today when it just burnout. Thankfully it didn’t cause a fire. Clearly somebody really didn’t know what they were doing when they added this inadequate receptacle. I replaced it with one for an RV.
