Walkie talkies are on a different band than CB radios, the two are not compatible. Any walkie talkie brand will work as they use the FRS=family radio service channels only. They do not use the GMRS...

FYI, if you ever sign-on with a caravan they nearly all use walkie talkies for communication. Wish we'd had your setup, AA batteries got expensive and we're doing one next year too.
