murphy bed mattress

I'm a potential buyer of the 2108DS which has the Murphy bed. I've read on other threads that the 2 piece OEM mattress leaves a lot to be desired.

I'd like to know what others have replaced theirs...

IT's helpful to insulate the back of the front one, as it can pick up false temp indications from the hot water heater which is located adjacent to it in the cabinet.

Firstly, just don’t slam them and expect them to stay shut. Push with your knee and be sure to hear them “click” shut.
Also, there are two double locking small nuts on the latch top and bottom....
