I, it seems to me the easiest, most economical way, would be to hang the bikes on a bike rack on the back of the car. Eliminates all kinds of problems and gets them out of the way.

Dash removal

That is exactly the same dash as on our 2014 Vista, that I need to remove to get to a squeaking heater blower motor. I have found no screws that appear to be holding the main, flat dash panel down....
