but am a longtime RV'r. Started out with bumper pulls 40 some years ago, moved on to a Class C which I had coast to coast at various times. Went full time in a 5th wheel about 8 years ago and wife and I decided to move to a Class A. We found a great deal on a 1999 Adventurer 35C with Ford drivetrain and just over 50k miles. Maintenance records included. We are looking forward to our first trip in it to see a son in Colorado Springs.
I was excited to find this website with active Winnie Owners. Looking forward to being a part of this forum.
Hi Jim,
A 1999 35C Adventurer is a big motorhome indeed. Sounds like a real find. I bet you like having the Driver's side door; a feature lacking in many of the new Class A's.
Welcome to the Forum.

I am curious why you decided to switch from a 5th wheel to a class A? I would expect you lose some space and storage in the transition, and rather than towing your home, you now would likely need to tow a car.
