New to the forum - new 2023 Era 70A Sprinter

Hello!

I'm new to the forum. Hubs and I just bought a brand new 2023 Era 70A. We also currently own a 2020 Grand Design Solitude 344GK R.

We're previous Winnebago owners. We had a Winnebago Intent 30R and loved it. Moved into the Grand Design to have a little more room. We've found that the Grand Design is not quite so nimble to pop in and out of state parks and such, so we've added the Era.

We have been nervous about the Covid Coach phenomenon - our 2020 Grand Design was built in 2019. We had trouble with the Era before taking it off the lot - the water pump was bad and of course for those of you who know the awning issue, that impacts us too. So we have a brand new rig with the awning tie wrapped.

Since we are not feeling totally warm and fuzzy about the dealer's service, we're considering making an appointment and taking the rig to the factory for the awning service.

I've only heard positives about folks who have taken their rig to the factory for service. Any feedback or experience anyone can share would be appreciated!

Wow, that’s a nice looking Era!! I’ve never seen that color before.

Same. picking mine up tomorrow in Tampa(fly and drive).
they did do a recall service for the awning.

i feel the same way about only taking it to a winnebago service center for upgrades or anything else that could go wrong. but then again, i'm new at this.
