New to RV Life with 2012 Sightseer

Wy wife and I are happy to be part of this forum. We look forward to learning from it and hope as we gain knowledge and experience we will be able to share solutions. We bought our 2012 Sightseer two months ago and left our home in Pennsylvania and plan on spending the next six months in Florida. Our trip so far has been without any issues and we arrived in Florida last Saturday. Now I need some advise. We want to change the living area TV to smart TV. Currently have a 43" Vizio and can't figure out how to remove it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Without the ability to see what you have going on there, it's hard to give advice.
I have replaced many tv's in the several RV's we have owned. Take a couple of pictures of what you have and maybe how it is mounted and maybe we can jump in.

Greetings keithharry,
There must be some screws which can be removed to then allow the set to be lifted-off an underlying bracket. If the picture below is any indication, you might be able to see release screws on the left side, and with a mirror you should be able to locate the same thing on the right. Of course as Jim mentions above, actual pictures of your installation would really be helpful, especially looking-in from the left-hand side.
It looks like you have the 36V floor plan; is that correct? Here is your brochure.

On the top of tv in the back of it will be a bracket with about a dozen Phillips head screws .Remove these, have someone holding onto tv before removing last few screws.tv is heavy ask me how I know this. After removing all screws tv will lift up and out of bottom bracket. Be sure to measure thickness of new tv ,you don't want it to be hit when bringing in your slideout.

X2 stand on a step ladder and you'll see the screws. Otherwise they are not visible. Another heads up - find the outlet the TV is plugged into and get it unplugged, the TV will not lower to the floor with the cord plugged in. You'll also need someone to release the TV antenna coax cable and all the HDMI and RCA cables from the TV before it will lower all the way to the floor.
