Just put down a deposit on a trailer. The wife and I are very excited to take possession on 6/5. It will be her and our two dogs. Neither of us have ever had a camper/trailer before and we are excited to learn how best to use it. We have parents to visit down south and land in CO we'd like to live on for a few weeks at a time in the summer. Ski season in the north will likely entail some resort parking lot camping as well.
This forum seems to be a good resource and Im thankful to have found it.
Welcome Zoey,
This forum has saved me lots of time and money. On fixits and upgrades.
Nice pups. I’ll wager they get the twin beds.
Porter, the brown one, will likely sleep in the king bed with my wife and I. Zoey, the fuzzy one, will only sleep on the floor. She gets too hot in bed.
got the trailer. made a reservation for the 19th at a close campground to get a little experience. Planning another in July before heading off to MN for a week in August. at least One trip/month is our quota. I will likely be the only one in it after december tho.

Hi there,
I purchased a 2020 Micro Mini 2108 TB two weeks ago and would appreciate it if owners of 2108 DS/TB trailers would take a look at the roof on their trailers. On mine the roof, just in front of the shower sky light appears softer than for the rest of the trailer roof? This over a 2 sq. ft. area. So I am wondering if I have a water ingress problem or if this is normal?
There was a brief period where Winnebago failed to install the correct skylight in the shower. In these cases, there was an open path for shower moisture to get into the roof (interior area with insulation and framing). I believe owners could reach up (in the shower) and over the skylight trim and get their fingers to touch insulation. I think they could also see the insulation when looking through the skylight from above. Maybe yours is like this and suffered some water damage. Definitely ask Winnebago for the roof assembly drawing so you can understand your framing.

Well here is an update: I have been in contact with Benjamin Gill at Winnebago Towables and he said he would contact the warranty department about the soft spot in front of the two skylights. I have also sent them the attached pictures. As you can see it looks like water damage, but whether this is related to the soft area (18 x 36 inches) on the roof I don't know. Winnebago tell me there is no water damage.
By-the-way, I have asked Benjamin to send me the new trim piece that protects the wood and insulation in the shower and he told me to go to my dealer. He did provide the part number. I went to the selling dealer and he did not know if he could order the part or how much it would cost, so he would contact Winnebago. That was nearly two weeks ago and I'm still waiting.
I have contacted two Winnebago dealers about repairing the roof: The first was the selling dealer and he said they are too busy do do a repair, but it should be repaired sooner rather than later. The second said, we didn't sell you the trailer, so not interested, or words to that affect. Winnebago then told me to go to any RV dealer and get them to send a detailed repair quote to them. I went to Lakeshore RV and they said that the supporting particle board or plywood has either decomposed or the roof panel was omitted during manufacture. The service manager said he could not provide a quote until he had rolled back the roof membrane to see how much damage there was. He asked that Winnebago call him to discuss. To date he is still waiting for the call and I have e-mailed Benjamin Gill three times during the past three weeks about this.
So that's where we are and this is not what one would expect for a 2020 Winnebago Micro Mini, or is it?
